Rear subframe arms

Greetings stagland
I've got myself replacement rear subframe arms and bushes for my mk2. Is it possible to replace the ar.s and bushes without dropping the whole assembly out ?

Yes. It is described in the Repair Operations Manual 64.35.02 and 64.35.05

Can’t see why not.
May be harder to do though.

I had to cut the exhaust pipe off. in that area as they were too rusty. I have swapped one out in a parts car. Remove the long bolt thru the floor as it is at an angle and makes removal of arm a bit more difficult.
