Soft top - webbing

Good evening,

On my soft top, the attachment of the webbing which connects the rails from front to back has come loose from the front rail on the passenger side. If I see it correctly, the webbing was riveted. Is there an easy way to reattach it without (partially) disassembling the soft top?

Unfortunately, when I stick the webbing back under the cover at the front, it doesn't last long.

If the top is old the aluminium rivets are usually rotted so best to do both sides. Possible to fold the hood top hlaf way back then pull the material away from the header rail to access it, but it may be glued down securely! Otherwise remove the front seal and retainer, then peel back to cover to access the rivets.

Indeed the soft top is an old one, maybe the first.
