Anyone had this issue with CV Propshafts?

    There are maybe a dozen threads on this in the search function...go on extend yourself, I'm not sure you admitting to being lazy cuts the mustard with continuing to receive support. !

      Just on this Micky, would I need to buy a new bigger stud for the newly tapped hole, and if so, where can I find them?

        CDD sell 3/8” studs Chix and can lend you a jig to fit them I believe.

          Chix,

          I used their kit to do mine a couple of years ago. It was easy-peasy with the trailing arms in situ on the car, and everything was in the kit that's needed, even down to grease & thread lock.

            might as well do both sides while I am at it, seeing as though I have got new drive shafts coming as well.

                Did the whole lot! Despite some people saying it was easy/ straight forward, it wasn't... but it's done, and they're on!

                  Nice repair of the studs… but the face is showing some corrosion…. Best to clean that up too.
                  Only then can the joint & loads be transmitted as intended.
