    Scews

    Hi All

Does anyone know what size and thread the screws are that hold the door mirror head to the stem? I have sheered the head off one of mine when changing and need to drill it out and replace?

Also, any ideas what the size of the screws are that hold the rear windows into the hard top on the hinge?

    Thanks for any feedback

    Cheers

My Tex mirror takes a 5mm counter sink stainless, just tried a Carb top screw which i think is 3/16 unf, correct me if wrong and it's a bit tight after 3 or 4 threads, so the pitch must slightly wrong for that, can send you one or two if you need one?

Ps the 2 screws that hold the catch to the hard top on the hard topside are self tapers, if you want a picture let me know?

      Hi Martin
Thanks this is helpful, I'll look at the thread size on the tex mirrors
The screws I was referring to on the hard top and the ones that hold the window hinge to the hard top itself. I have go the catch screws.
      Thanks for your help

I'm afraid this is still "Work-in-Progress" but you might find some info on the hardtop screw sizes. Hard Top Refurbishment.pdf
        The answer isn't 42, it's 1/137
