This started the wheels turning as I have allready fitted the cupped washer that's available, as well as attacking the mounting hole in the mirror body to give greater movement.
So order placed, I have not got access to a 3D printer so machined a piece of perspex down to give a 1mm to 5mm taper over its length, that being the length of the mirror foot.
Then cut to shape, holes drilled and fitted to push the rear end of the foot 4mm further out from the door.
this seems to have given a few more degrees or rear view.
May try a slightly thicker one if feel it's needed, but all appears to be good.
I have a template available if anyone has a printer and would like to print a few for others to try, or would the club be interested in producing them as a fund raiser?
