What happens to the old waterpump? Is it removed and the hole bunged up? Or could it be welded up?

A brass bung is fitted in its place. I dont think welding would be an option or desirable.
      Carbs suck.

I have the A/c system on mine. Can the alternator be fitted elsewhere ?

Steve I’m in Australia and not on Facebook. Could you please give me some way of contacting you as I’m very keen to know more. My alternator is already on bottom left same as UK cars

Good decision on both counts. Steve has posted above, try a PM?

Living in Texas, this is the best addition to my Stag that I've made. At 100+F, the Stag is still usable. Thanks Steve.

                    I wouldn't have thought so.

This is an essential modification. Here is mine. Don’t know its origin but very satisfied with it, high debit it seems.

I fitted Stagdads Waterpump many years ago, it still has the original belt. Stag has never overheated even with several " Indian Summers" worth of driving . Easy mod to fit. Got it right at first attempt....still going strong. Best mod ever in my books.
                        Sukh.
                        Regards,
                        Sukhi

I'm also a user of Steve's kit, as part of the work to get mine back on the road after a few years laid up, good kit, fits well and Steve was quick to help with any questions.
Fitted a Volvo headrer tank at the same time, plus had the Stag rad modified with new air bleed and water feed connections into the LH side of the rad. Headter tank has a level indicator as well that I'll connect later for further peace of mind.
