O/S door shell.

Hi,any ideas where i might be able to find a drivers side door that isn't totally rusted out ? Restoring my stag at the mo and managed to save the n/s door but just taken the o/s to bits and what a bodge up of a repair before!!so annoying when people just plate over rust and leave it to be a bigger job in the future!!!

I've got a spare one in Bristol, I'll have alook and see whether it's Mk1 or Mk2 - mine is a crossover car so I need Mk1 doors....

Huge! The lock location is different and non-interchangeable…

Mk2,its a 1973

Quite possibly a Mk1 door. The newer style with anti-burst locks were not fitted until late 73, after LD30001. Mine is one of the last LD20000-series cars, built in Nov 73, and the doors are Mk1.

Does the latch plate on the B-post look like one on a modern car, i.e. a hoop? If not, it is Mk1.

Ahh yes,mine has the anti burst lock with the hoop striker so now i know,thanks.
