    Boot Rack

I have noticed that some members have the boot rack with the suckers on the legs are they any good for use or just for show?

I had one many years ago but found that the clamps distorted the boot lid which wouldn't close properly.

Plenty of room in a stag boot , plus storage under our hood when stowed

I have one that looks like a dealer fit. There are screw looking things that go into the boot lid, via Rawl plug type things. I feel it makes the car look older than it really is. It takes away the nice profile of the car.

I have one but plan only to use it when we hopefully tour the Alps next year. Bought in one of the “brothers” sales. I will need to sacrifice chamois to put under suckers and clamps. We will be using it to carry dog food! Management insists the Border Terrorist and Labrador have to come along.
