    Leaking steering rack.

My car has been off the road for 3 years, just about to arrange an MOT when I noticed the steering rack leaking from both gaitors!
Would this be an MOT failure?

Thank Phil, doesn’t look like I will be on the road this summer!

Drain the oil out of the gaiters. Fill the system with a proprietary fluid with 'stop leak' additives (e.g. Slick 50 from Halfords) and run it for a while. It worked for me years ago and enabled me to keep the Stag on the road until I could get around to rebuilding a spare rack.
