I seem to remember seeing an indicator relay, with an audiable clicking sound, reminds you to cancel the indicators,as self cancelling rarely works.Who sells these?

It depends if you have the normal bulbs or LED as they need am electrical relay. The normal ones should have that clicking sound and some of the LED ones have a click added (these work on both types of bulbs). If you set up the self canceling properly it should cancel most of the time

You could try one of these https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/sis.html?...72.m2749.l2658
It only starts buzzing when the set number of flashes has been reached. There are versions that have a connection to the brake light circuit, so the buzzer is inhibited if you're at a junction with the foot brake applied.
White 1976 build ("Mk2") only a few mods

I have 1 of those indicator buzzers, Jonno mentioned above, had it a while, has anyone fitted one ?, where is the best place to pick up the left and right indicator feed on the stag , I think it the green/white wire RH and the green/red wire LH would it be below the large multiplug?.
Thanks for your help in advance

I have fitted one of these.
It starts to sound after around 20 flashes (the max I could set it to) and has a wire to the brake circuit so that it doesn't start 'counting' if your foot is on the brake.
Sometimes I wish I could set it a bit longer than 20 flashes as it can be a little annoying, particularly on big roundabouts. It takes a minute to re-set, so if it counts 19 flashes for example whilst your indicating right around a roundabout and you then indicate left to turn off it will sound after 1 left flash.
That said, it's very good and does remind you if you have left the indicators on and can't hear the relay or see the dash light.
I have been reminded that my indicators are still on a lot more times than it has annoyed me (and yes my self cancelling is set up)
I accessed all the wiring under the steering column cover and mounted the buzzer in there too.
Not sure if I took any pictures - will have a look when I get a chance.

Martin,
Sorry I couldn't find any photos but found some notes I made.
I connected in just downstream of the large multiplug connector (after testing the unit by simply inserting the wire ends into the multiplug before cutting into the wires)
I have a Mk 2, 1976 and the wires were coloured as you have stated ie. green/white for RH and green/red for the LH.
The brake connection goes to the green/purple wire on the footbrake switch. Again easy to test before cutting into the wiring as it is simply a spade connection.
Hope that is of some help.

In the meantime..
I found that hard mounting my flasher relay (that was just hanging on the loom under the steering wheel) to a metal part of the dash amplified the sound and I'm finding that I don't forget it nearly as much.. in fact hardly at all now. LED lights in the cluster helped as well.
