A Post door seals. Help !

    Hi Guys

Not had the Stag long, get caught out in a heavy shower this morning with the soft top on and water peed in between the A post rubbers and the door frame., it runs down the rubber, once it reaches the bottom of the rubber it drips onto the sill.and into the car.The rubbers seals are stuck on and not in good condition and squashed flat. ( See photos ) so I will replace them.My questions are as follows. The replacements from Rimmers appears to be Ref 630755.? Also have mine been stuck on the correct way around ?, Rimmers diagram suggests not, this shows the tube section of the rubber innermost to the main door rubber, whilst mine is the opposite ?.Are my rubbers short ? should they extend further down the post ?
I had the car painted before taking delivery, so never really noticed the rubbers, I know they were removed and stuck back by the body shop, as my record photos indicate.

Just a note,I had the main door rubbers replaced.so I know they are ok.

    Thanks all.

If I recall properly they were originally taped to the lip with something like duct tape not glued except the last few inches then the fur flex is fitted over the tape. the bulb is to the outside as you have them now

I put mine on the wrong way now I read this. So if the bulb is outward is the thin edge held captive inside the fur flex or just butted to side of the seam? Not sure about the final position on inside, please confirm if possible. Regards Paul

                Thanks DJT,

I have googled photos of Triumph Stag doors and from my findings my seals are short by approx 150 mm. I have ordered new from Robsport, plus an additional one in case they too are short, I can then extend if necessary.
