    Sill replacement

    Hi All
I'm replacing an outer sill, outer inner wheel arch and a 3/4 rear wing, I’ve jacked up the one side just to make it easier but wondered if this is twisting the body slightly as I don’t want to weld a twist into the car should I do the sill on 4 wheels then remove the wheel to do the rest? I’m bracing the door gap. Look forward to any advice
    thanks Alan

Weld at least one brace across the door gap, preferably more - at top and bottom plus a diagonal, and another across the car to keep the width correct. Use 1" box section steel tube. Make sure the T-bar bolts are tight, then jack up one side high enough to make the sill area accessible. You would be amazed at how much the bodyshell will distort if you don't brace it.
