Testing Stag ignition, standard original electronic ignition - no spark at plugs

All worked fine before I took gearbox out, now no spark - there is power and a spark at the coil, and i've checked all connections etc. HT leads are almost new.

How do I test/check the electronic ignition - any idea why it might fail when not used - been fine for layups before. Does this have any effect on, or connections to the fuel pump cut out swicth by the fusebox?

    Thanks

There was no standard electronic ignition (only aftermarket fitments)

If you've got spark at the coil then the electronic ignition is probably OK

Do you have spark at any of the spark plugs or none?

    Check
    King lead
Distributor cap (is is fitted correctly and is the carbon brush inside broken?)
Rotor arm (did you forget to refit it?)
Plug leads (if you have no spark at any cylinder)
Spark plugs (is the one you checked the only one not working?)
