I've done I bit of research on tyres and without wishing to spend £600+ for 4 new ones, has anybody bought some recently that they can recommend?

I have a set of Michelin 195/70 r14's on mine and the speedo is accurate with my sat nav. the rolling radius is the same as the original 185/80 r14's.
Bought them on line from Tyreleader.co.uk, which was the best price I could find, they were shipped from Germany and delivered by DPD and guess where they were made......Great Britain !

I use Uniroyal Rain Expert 175/80 x 14 because they work well, they have the correct speed rating, the speedo is correct and they are about £60 each. Superb in the wet, I do about 10,000 miles a year in all weathers, six inches of snow a couple of years ago. Wider tyres may be the choice of many, but I disagree.Last edited by mole42; 10 September 2019, 21:41.Richard
