standard 3.5 Vitesse with tuned exhaust system and twin plenum flapper type efi.
The exhaust was made by Longlife out 420 stainless 3" going to 2 x twin outlets either side of the car. Cost me £475 with a life long garantee and that was fitted.
Using rover mounts the clearance with the crossmember and brake pipes is minimum but wiil go.
Using the rover box LT77 the gear selector is central whereas the stag is slightly off set. Monarch do an adapter that works, bringing the rover selector to the triumph position.
Prop shaft needs to be shortened and rebalanced. depending what carburation you go for bonnet clearance is an issue. easiest to go for sd1 efi engine and machine 10mm off the trumpet base.
the water pump and crank pulley clearance needs to be looked at. I pushed the standard radiator under the the top valance and made a hole for the filler point
I fitted Monarch front 4 pot calipres and vented disc and disc at the rear. They work well ,only notice the difference when i have to stamp on them.
Springs are progressive wound,ie they get stiffer the harder you put her in a corner. Spax adjustables all round.
About the arse end pics , ill take over the moor tomorrow and get her to bend over......
Sounds like you've done all the things i want to do to mine.I'm going to start with the suspention and go from there.i'm sure there are plenty reading this and thinking "Why" but hay ho, life would be boring if we were all the same.
Am i right i thinking the larger rover units ie 3.9,4.2 or 4.6 are basicly the same external measurments.
