Just had some spacers turned up to within about 1mm of the internal gap between bearings in the hub and got some shims off the net and have shimmed the gap up. Seems to work well and should stop the inner part of the taper bearing moving which it most definatly was as there were some whitness marks on the shaft. Think there is a kit for this but mine has bigger bearings so had to make them. I'll be interested to see how long before I have to reshim it.
