    Any engine stand recommendations?

    Hi all,

Am embarking on an engine strip and refurb. Can anyone recommend a turnover type stand please?

    Cheers and thanks

Happy with my one from Machine Mart bought several years ago. You'll need to be a bit creative with bolts and spacers to mount the engine.

Nice one thanks. Does anyone know the weight of a fully dressed Stag motor without clutch / box please?

      Thanks

I used that model of engine stand for the Alvis 3-litre as well as Triumph sixes and slant-fours. It's pretty good and not too heavy for storage when you've rebuilt the engine.

BTW I'm sorry to hear the engine's needing a rebuild
