    Headrest friction roller

I have started the rebuild of the front seats of my '73 Mk 2 Stag. I have found the friction rollers (ZKC1271) which hold the headrests in position are both broken. They appear to be NLA. Have any Forumites been able to source something usable or been able to make replacements. Thankyou for any forthcoming suggestions.

I bought an extra seat back cheap and used that. There are 2 different ones used on the car, A coil like and a solid thingy

I've fixed it, at least I think I have. After much head scratching and brain storming I found a very simple solution(I think) I used a 75mm piece of 7.8mm OD nylon air hose slipped in place an secured with a 14 guage x 3/4 self tapping screw screwed into each end. It gives a firm push or pull to slide the headrest up or down and should be enough to hold it in place.
