    New relay plate location?

I am adding a relay plate to handle the headlights & spotlights.

Has anyone done this and found the ideal location to save miles of extra wiring? I would imagine bolting the plate to the radiator support panel, but is this a good place?

Can't see the relays - I'm dazzled by the bling!!

What's that square box thing hanging off the turret?

To help keep the wiring tidy (fan override control; HT low warning), I'm planning to use a 7-core cable between the dash and the relay etc position like this:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1721857915...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT. Should look a lot neater, with more physical protection than the present group of single cores.

I agree, I used to build wiring harnesses for one-arm bandits years ago!

My relays will pretty much tap into the existing wiring - - in other words, the positive to the dip beam will feed the dip relay, the positive to the main beam will feed the main relay. I'll use the existing foglamp wire to feed the spotlights relay.
The only extra wire is for the auxiliary fan relay so there won't be a lot of extra cables from the dash area. There will be a thick wire from the battery positive fuse though!

                        I don't have an HT.
