      Just remembered I've an Stag MC cap connected to an Easibleed kit that you're welcome to borrow if it would be of any help. I'm just north of Cambridge.

        I have to go back in history again, some may have noticed that I have made many odd posts about problems I encountered back in medieval days but you aint erd anything yet until you read this.

        Is it possible that you have put the calipers on the wrong side? not sure it's possible on the Stag but but but.

              nope. Still centered.....I must have changed the fluid now more than a few times. It DOT 4 synthetic. Feel like in Catch 22 In 1 end out the other, back in the 1 end...

                    If you have bled it out and have bubble free fluid coming out when you bleed it, then it's either trapped air being compressed or the master cylinder is at fault. does the pedal sink to the floor but has a little resistance or no resistance other than the return spring

                      Have bled all for corners no air coming out, just fluid, none very little resistance and goes to the floor. Nothing at all if engine running.
                      I really cant believe that its the Mc again but it does point that away.....or where could this air be. It must be near or in the M/c

                      getting very frustrated

                            I had the same problem last year when I re-did the MC. Could not get it to bled in the car. Eventually I did a bench bleed on the MC where you feed the two MC outputs back into the reservoir. I think the problem was the front end of the MC (rear wheel circuit) was not getting the fluid to suck through the small holes in the piston. The back end (front circuit) was bleeding okay and then pressuring up and preventing the other circuit from bleeding properly.

                              Well im on MC no. 3 now .............still same result. Where the Fcuk is the air.......I've undone and redone every joint and connection, I've got more fluid on the drive that Halfords ....and still no brakes....WTF

                                Malcolm, sorry it's no help, but I also struggled after replacing the master cylinder, pads and all brake pipes. It took 3 attempts at bleeding to get a reasonably firm pedal, but it is still a poor brake pedal feeling (softer) than before the refurb. My pedal doesn't sink, but I'm convinced I still have a small amount of air somewhere. It passed the mot brake test and all brake forces looked ok.
