I too regularly watched the Professionals - but my Capri was only a 1600cc Calypso model so not very quick but loved the look of it and enjoyed driving it.
No idea what happened to it though after I sold it - it might still be around somewhere as the bodywork was in very good condition at the time I sold it privately. My young son used to enjoy washing it for me.

Blimey you have me getting all nostalgic now
Here's mine early 2.8i 4 speed went like the proverbial off a shovel and I loved it, I had a 2 litre before and had always wanted the 3 litre but when these came out I had to have one
Still fancy getting one back again would love a Brooklands like the one in a previous post cheers Glyn

Whilst on the subject of Capris there is one currently for sale (LHD) in Los Cristianos where I play snooker. Late model Metallic Silver & looks in good condition but don't know what engine is in it. In the same complex is a white Escort (XR3?) Cabriolet also for Sale - suspect it may be the same Seller as the Capri. Quite a few British Classics on Tenerife - predominently Triumphs and Minis.Last edited by Tdm; 1 December 2013, 00:14.
