You must visit "Bygone Times" at Bottony Bay - I always do when I visit my old home town. Several floors of memoribilia
going back to the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70,s etc, and there is a sweet shop in there that still sells sherbert dips, bon-bons, liquorice, etc.,
and all sorts of stuff. Some old motoring pics/mags/odds in there as well - check out their Website (Bygone Times).
By the way the Motorway it is next to is the M61 not the M62, and the nearest Hotel is the Hartwood Hall, which is where we had
our Wedding Reception back on January 5th 1974.

I was in Barbados a few years ago on a Caribbean Cruise - they sell "Stag" beer in the Caribbean and I just had to have some.
What name or where do the people you are meeting live, I might know them as still have relatives there and know quite a few Chorleans.
