Ld30263bw has mk2 doors, locks, strikers, number plate lights, plus hazards and seatbelt warning on the dash. Black rimmed gauges but oddly a night dimming relay in the boot. Oh and a loom that only matches USA mk2 with heater.
Built 31 August 1973Stags and Range Rover Classics - I must be a loony

Hi Pete,I obviously didnt learn enough.
I had Stag workshops back in 1982 and had a lot of Stags through the doors.I bought my first MK1.5 (2)in 1979..a very early 73L unmolested and unmodified.
The door locks on this car were Mk2 and all the others of that age that I had dealings with were the same.
Over the years cars lost their identity and returned as something else so a lot of Mk1 cars were made to look like Mk2 (it was the thing to do then)
I still remained unconvinced about the locks, however I am not going to lose any sleep over it..but thanks for keeping me informed.

And as Dave has said, a lot of these changes are well documented in the James Taylor books.
