        Steve,

For what it's worth, I recently used speedy for my clock repair. Dispensed with email as I've found most stag suppliers are the same when it comes to this "new media"

Phone them. They were very good, gave me price, directions etc. over the phone and had the clock back very quickly. Gve them another chance, I believe they're actually better than they appear.

I can say that when I emailed speedy cables recently for a quote for a speedo repair I got a reply straight away and they say they will turn the job around within 20 days, I will let you know if this doesn't happen.

Just tried speedy cables again and got an instant reply .Although the cost quoted was more than the other company sugested by Gez.

They want to know if im running with electronic ignition (which i am) Does this mean that the rev counter should've been modified when the ignition was fitted by the previous owner?

This is probably to do with the fact that Mk1 Tachometers don't run very well with Lumenition. Mk2 tachos are OK. They will repair Mk1 units with internals that are compatible with Lumenition if required.
