Have to say they are perfect for a trip away. I look forward to taking mine abroad every year and cruising the N roads of France. This year its to be the Chinon Classic in the Loire Valley.

Maybe it was something to do with the exchange rate.

Seemed like a perfectly reasonable request......

Very nice. Think Iím an apprentice then as only had mine 12 years. Done loads of trips to France tho, in fact, the Stag has seem more of France than the UK. Unfortunately my eldest boy is getting too tall for the back, his head hits the soft top! I did suggest to SWMBO that she sit in the back and Luke up front, sheís not having that!

Enjoy your retirement, I had a pension review the other week and the Guy asked when Iíd like to retire, I said this afternoon please! I think Iíll still be working on the morning of my funeral!

That to me sounds like a perfect way to ease into retirement - enjoy every moment!

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for the message.

Had my wife for 43 years now and we both retired in January - and there was me thinking Iíd have a few years to myself to indulge more of my time to things Stag till she reached retirement age.

So we compromised. She could retire early and we would indulge my desire to make more use of the Stag and we would go on road trips. So far we have two trips booked for next year - the first in late May is a trip to France and Belgium staying in a Ch‚teau or two, (thatíll give me a few Brownie points), and then again at the end of June we are heading back to the Loire Valley to stay in the town of Chinon during their classic car weekend.

The Stag and planning trips has eased us into retirement so needless to say I have no plans to sell.

    Lovely!

Hopefully you'll never sell it like me with mine I've had for 26 years now even longer than my wife!
