Thanks Terry for showcasing your pride and joy!

Some nice photos there, I especially like the photo of the fully loaded Stag at about 45 sec, makes it look like a very useful long-haul GT!

    Cheers,
    Joakim

      Thanks for sharing Terry.

Some would say the boot rack is the wrong way round but what do the members of Face Book group know?

      Looks correct to me.
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!

In the 23 years that I have owned my Stag, I only wish that I had aged as well as she has.
She looks and runs better than before, which is the opposite in the case of me personally unfortunately.
Still nice to have something that looks good and draws admiring glances in the Family (besides the wife of course).

          Hi Terry
Haven't forgotten the photos of the stag in you old stomping ground around Glan Conwy, Still waiting its delivery from the garage where i bought it, after having some work done that was highlighted in an independent engineers report i had prior to buying it. Should be here next week with luck, hope we still have some nice days left to get out and about with it this year. Gr garage is now riverside motors. Trying to catch a chap who lives in Glan conwy Ken Dolman he as been there a good while his dad had the house before him (have stayed in his holiday cottage in the village many times prior to moving over here). Nice ode to the stag by the way. Chris.

The name Ken Dolman rings a bell, but I can't picture him at the moment!

I lived at the top of Parc Derwen, does Ken live in Bryn Rhys just round the corner from Parc Derwen, and is he a model railway fanatic?

Otherwise (come to think of it) it could well be a guy in a bungalow nearby who used to "tweak" his sports cars, and had a red Nissan 200SX when I lived there, and his wife a red BMW hatchback. Mention my name to him and let us know, a neighbour of his in another nearby bungalow had an orange MGC GT that he rarely took out of the Garage. If it's the Ken who liked fast cars, his garage has a pit in it which he once offered to let me use. What Garage did you buy your Stag from?

First drive I went to in my Stag was along the back road to Llanrwst, then back along the main road - good testing route for the car,
or drive it to Betws-Y-Coed on the road by River Conwy, then back via the Bangor road, or the road the other side of the River.

Post some pictures of your car as soon as you can.

Please give my regards to Chris - he looked after all our cars when we lived in Glan Conwy, from 1987 to 2004 - the Stag, a W123 Merc I had at the same time, as well as my wife's Honda Prelude then Honda Accord. As he did some work on my Stag, he should be able to help you if you have a problem.

Tell him if he wants to see my Stag in Tenerife to click on my YouTube site (Tenerife Terry) which contains a number of videos of my Stag out & about on the Island (as well as a video of where we used to live and an old one taken at Llandudno Festival of Transport on Bodafon fields in 1999).
