I will look at dates. I love the idea of the news years day run however I'm usually in no fit state on New Years day.
I think a spontaneous meet when we know its going to be decent weather or at least the chance of it.
I think taking in chew magna lakes would be nice. Some great parking and facilities there too.

I'm so pleased this thread continues to help stag owners. I still keep an eye out for another stag I now have a very big garage perfect for another restoration but at present i need to finish lots of projects that i have started. I might even one day buy my car back as i have told the buyer to offer me it in a few years when he is ready wouldnt that be nice . It will always be my stag no matter who owns it and for that i am very proud .
There is no way i could have done it without the help of julian and the forum in general after looking at many other classics the stag is still the only classic for me.
Regards Edd

I passed on Edd’s & M&M’s comments to Julian (Jleyton) who is surprised and pleased that he is remembered and that his numerous posts can still be of help to Stag owners.
As many know he has a serious illness now but still uses his Stag which several former and current SOC members helped to get back on the road.I only do what the voices in my wifes head tell me to do!

I now have a grand daughter and at present my focus is having fun whilst rstoring our latest home and building a snooker room for me and my dad to enjoy good times. I'm also converting my t5 van into a camper next year. I took most of my enjoyment restoring the car , the process enabled me to make many friends and i get a real thrill out of fixing things learning and re discovering existing skills.I also really enjoy helping others I've just restored a lawn mower and got the same thrill .
