Hi Jim, Thnaks for getting back to me and the offer. I don't need it right now as I'm between cars - I rejected the first one I bought, dreadful car, (beware of OJU 111M everyone), and now looking for another. If it doesn't come with a hard top I'll contact you. Belgium... great reason to visit Europe, so no probmen
    Thanks once again

Hi Peter, I have an excellent condition one just repainted in black. I want to sell it because I have limited space in the garage. One small problem - I live in Belgium & it is here, If you still interested let me know! +32 476760450 Jim

I restored my hardtop back in 2003 having not used it for 12 years due to it being rusty. Since then, I have fitted it every Winter. It is like owning two different cars and this means that the soft top only goes up if the weather changes for the worse when using it in the Summer. This also means that a new soft top has never got to the top of my ‘to do’ list with either of the Stags I’ve owned in that time.....

Phill S, hi and thanks for your response. I'm sure I want a Hardtop - It's been 40 years since I last drove a Stag - we had two in our family in the 70's which I was lucky enough to have access to, and I liked the hard top then as I do now. I'm aware of the pitfalls but ........

Thanks for your response as well Mike, I understand what you are saying and appreciate your feedback. You may not have used your hardtop that much, but isn't it good to know you have one, just in case you need it !

Best to both and thanks again
    Peter

Back in the 80s when my Stag was a daily driver, the hardtop was used through the winter months.
Since the mid 90s and a summer car, the hardtop has only been fitted when we moved house!!

are you sure you need one? is the car kept outside?
only asking as I purchased a 76 car that year was supplied with a hardtop so I made sure it had one, but it has spent more time hanging up in the garage than it has on the car.
